I have a little cousin who watches this show & he loves it, but I'm not so sure how much I like it. First off, some 10 year old boy and a gang of puppies is in charge of all the emergency services (in the fake town that the show takes place in). Secound of all, there is only one female pup, Skye, out of 6 puppies. And of course her color is pink. The even gave her lamer gadgets than the boy pups. The even made her smaller! I don't like the gender stereotypes in this show. Third, all the adults here are shown as ding dongs. Captain Turbo, or whatever he is called, is a Marine Biologist, but he always falls off his boat. They make fun of other adults, too, including the mayor. And most kids (including the main character boy, Ryder) aren't even shown with an parent/guardian ! Fourth and final, the catchfrases keep pouring in. I swear, if I hear "Chase on the Case" one more time, I will unplug the TV! They always crank out Paw Patrol merchandise that is super overpriced, to, so if your little one likes Paw Patrol, don't buy too much. But mind my ranting. I (sorta) like the show. The lessons in the show are good and the pups are cute. Ok for some. But you can start a talk with your kids about some stuff.
