Good show, but sometimes dark. Is it my imagination or is Ash hanging with more girls as the series goes

My parents told me that I tried to battle the neighbor's cat after watching episode one. It is a good show. I liked it, but there are some sad episodes. In one SPOILER! It's basically about a litten mourning (Also the characters) his dad. Stoutland after dying. Also SPOILER! Mallow's mom dies and the episode is basically Mallow regretting her childhood decisions. Lastly, well this isn't an episode, but the fact that Lillie and her mom don't have a good relationship might be too tough for the little ones But apart from that it's a good show for kids. It shows teamwork, friendship and Ash loving school.

It is good because Ash and the others help each other. And it also taught me that i should help each other.

Pretty good I recommend

This is mainly for the third and second season and SPOILERS the professor's are wonderful and the family ash needed but some of the jokes are kinda cringe but overall the show is pretty good mainly misunderstood and the battle when ash won champion and even beat kukui was prefect

Awesome show for kids who love the games!!

(This is a spoiler free review.) I absolutely love this show, even as an almost-teenager! Perfect for kids! Positive role models: 5/5 So many! Ash is a perfect role model for kids to never give up on your dreams. Lillie also wants to face her fears which is perfect if your kid is still afraid of the boogeyman lol. Violence and gore: 0/5 Some mild fantasy violence here or there, but NEVER any blood or gore! And before you ask, the pokemon don’t die, they only faint because they’re tired from battling. Swearing: 1/5 There might be one use of “stupid” if I remember correctly. Nothing your kid hasn’t heard before though. Drinking, drugs, smoking: 0/5 Absolutely none. Sex: idk/5 There are two male characters that are seen shirtless throughout the show, but it’s nothing big because it’s a beach environment. Nothing inappropriate whatsoever. Overall: 4/5 While it might not be the best pokemon show out of them all, Sun and Moon still has the same charm as the old Pokemon!

Entertaining and suitable for kids of all ages!

This is fun and entertaining, I used to watch this and recommend it. At no point does it swear and no-one but the adults are in relationships. It is kid-friendly and quirky. It is available to watch on Netflix and easy to access.

Ultra cringy

I used to watch this show when I was 7 I loved it but now it's a joke I mean why would 6 people say "Time to eat!" at the same time?! Just no. Little kids would not like it it's too mature for them but too immature for older kids! The only good parts are few and far between! I don't have an age rating for it even though it says 2+. For any die-hard fans that want something more mature, try XY, XYZ, or Journeys. (Journeys is my favorite)

WORSTEST SHOW EVER!!!

I HATE THIS SHOW. If it wasn't for Ash Ketchum, then it would be way better. ASH, YOU RUINED POKEMON TV FOR ME!!! ALSO THERE IS A LOT OF SEXY STUFF AND ASH HANGS AROUND WITH MORE GIRLS NOWADAYS! THE VIDEO GAMES (I will be posting a review on Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon) ARE SOOOOOO MUCH BETTER! But if you want a GOOD Pokemon anime, watch XYZ. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOREVER AND EVER!!!!! ~Lucario

Parents beware

So good. But it seems fine at first. Pokemon over the years has always had ash hang around a bunch of girls and some boys. There are many youtube videos to stay away from that I would rate 11+ on. But there are a lot of moments when a character ends up in a moment where people ask if ash and a girl is dating. There is also a couple that get married. I love the show. It's a good clean anime. If your kids want to watch a anime, this is the best and most appropriate. Pokemon battles happen every episode. So they are battling. That means some may bleed or be bruised or have some broken bones. A lot of positive messages! Finding pokemon is very good because ash is always saying things like are you sure you want to be my pokemon. He understands that pikachu does not want to be in his pokeball and he accepts that. Pokemon often get into fights. There is no drugs and alcohol. From what I remember, there is no gun violence or knife violence unlike most animes. That shows you how much better of an anime this is to my hero academia or something violent like that. Great role models! I feel like if your kids can handle this, than even a newborn can watch it. If my mom wasn't so overprotective I may have been able to cross the street when I was 9 or early 10. This is why I have a account for common sense media, (so parents don't over do it!) -Thankyou -Joshua Mann The Anime Fan

I watched all of XY-XYZ, and really enjoyed it, so I tried this series after. After that more mature series, this is a bit of a joke. I've tried watching it every now and then since, but never really got into it. If you can get past the cartoony style of the show, may as well try, but I'd recommend Pokémon XY instead.
