I do recommend skipping some scenes if you dare uncomfortable with watching s3x. If your under 16 please watch with a parent so they can cover your eyes

One of the best shows I've ever seen, can't wait until season 2!!!
Natasha Lyonne is an amazing actor, and also Charlie Barnett is awesome too. I love that the directors and writers go above and beyond to create a weird happy death day like experience. Yes there is drugs violence and a little bit of sex, but that doesn't minimize how awesome this tv show is.

Great show, depends on how mature you are with serious topics
I love Natasha Lyonne and dark comedy so I was bound to love Russian Doll. It's creative, witty and has a super diverse cast (something I haven't seen other reviews mention), but the age recommendation really depends on how mature you are with serious topics. Natasha's character Nadia Vulvokov dies over and over again on her birthday, which might ring a few bells if you've seen Happy Death Day or Groundhog Day. Most of the deaths are a little intense but not graphic (getting hit by a car, choking, drowning, falling down/off stairs), but one particular death includes a lot of blood coming from Nadia's mouth and the scene isn't as brief as those of the other deaths. As the series moves forward, you learn more about Nadia's childhood, which deals with serious topics that younger audiences might not understand. This show includes very frequent cursing and substance abuse, including one time lapse scene in which Nadia is seen walking around drinking many different drinks and doing many, many drugs, even trying to smoke a pipe. There is some very brief nudity in one episode when you can see a pile of people in their underwear and a woman's breast is visible. The woman is asleep and this pile of people are visible for about 10 seconds. This scene happens twice. Nadia and Alan are determined to get out of the death loops they're stuck in and they work together, which balances out some of the drinking and smoking, but not all of it, because pretty much every time you see Nadia walk down the street, she's smoking a cigarette. This didn't faze me as I know people who smoke, but it might be troublesome for people who don't. Overall I loved the show despite the constant crude humor and substance abuse.

Powerful show with powerful themes.
Definitely worth watching. While it does have some adult and complex themes and scenes, it never actually pictures sex. It may be triggering for those with some addiction problems of many types (drugs smoking alcohol etc.). Definitely worth watching and does show the effects of bad decisions
