Sago Mini Kids: Happy Thankful Day
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
In SAGO MINI FRIENDS: HAPPY THANKFUL DAY, Sagoville celebrates Thanksgiving and everything they're thankful for with a big festival. But trouble strikes when Harvey and Robin are transformed to an unknown place via Alan's "here-to-there-inator." Will they make it home in time for the festival?
Is It Any Good?
The Thanksgiving season is the best time of the year for a show that focuses on gratitude, and this holiday special doesn't disappoint. Sago Mini Friends: Happy Thankful Day is exactly what fans of the show would expect, a story that finds friends spreading thankfulness far and wide with their actions, their words, and even a special festival. The episode contains two charming songs, with one focusing on the idea of expressing gratitude by creating a Thankful Tree. It's not all lessons, though. The gentle juxtaposition of Alan and Robin's positivity with Lucy and Leonard's deadpan stoicism will make kids giggle too. All in all, this is a short and sweet special families with preschool-aged children will love.
