This anime series is a fun take on ancient Japanese mythology. Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin focuses on a lazy goddess who takes her privilege for granted but eventually learns the value of hard work. Her personal growth is something to be admired as she learns to appreciate her friends and family more. The mild nature of the show makes it easy to watch in a family setting and the lessons the show teaches can be valuable.
