What's the Story?

SHAUN WHITE: THE LAST RUN is a four-part docuseries that follows world champion snowboarder and skateboarder Shaun White as he attempts to medal at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. Using archive footage and interviews with family and friends, it highlights how he got started in both sports, and the various challenges he faced as he worked on his professional career. As White prepares for and competes in his fifth Olympic Games, folks like his coach, J.J. Thomas, and athletes like Japanese snowboarding Olympian Hirano Ayumu and U.S. skateboarding pioneer Tony Hawk also give their insights into White's abilities and his contributions to each sport.
