What's the Story?
SHOULD I MARRY A MURDERER? tells the story of Caroline, a brilliant pathologist living in Glasgow. After a whirlwind romance and engagement with her fiancé, Sandy, he confesses to a hit-and-run. The series follows her journey from the picturesque Highlands to the dark reality of the crime, exploring her decision to report him and the sinister realization that her professional expertise may have been the very reason he targeted her.

A masterfully told tale that unfolds like a high-stakes TV drama. Caroline is a charismatic and funny protagonist, making it easy for the audience to feel a kinship with her as she navigates a surreal nightmare in Should I Marry a Murderer? The twisty storytelling is elevated by sweeping landscapes, her social media footage from that time in her life, and tense reenactments. It's a fascinating case study of the human psyche, testing the limits of morality and self-preservation, as well as the profound ways in which the police can fail the very people who turn to them for help.
