Sins of Kujo
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
SINS OF KUJO follows Kujo Taiza (played by Yagira Yuya), a loner lawyer. He's one of the few who knowingly represents guilty clients because he believes that everyone deserves fair representation under the law despite constant backlash from others. Karasuma Shinji (played by Hokuto Mastumura) is a lawyer who joins his new firm. Together they represent a wide range of clients, like Yakuza gang members and drunk drivers to get them the fairest trials possible. The two of them are determined to find the truth in every situation and follow the law. It highlights the theme of morality versus justice and has characters asking themselves, "How far should you go to get the truth?"
Is It Any Good?
This show is an intense watch. Sins of Kujo has some disturbing moments, especially when it comes to violence, which may be too much for some viewers. The storyline is very mature, but it's also engaging and easy to get invested in. The main character is likable, even though most of the other characters in the show didn't seem to feel the same way about him, which added an interesting dynamic. Overall, while it can be hard to watch at times, it's still an enjoyable viewing experience.
