What's the Story?

Suze and Sare (Susan Stanley, Sarah Goldberg) go from complete strangers to finding out they're SISTERS. After Sare's mom dies, she leaves Canada in search of the father she just learned about. Meanwhile, Suze struggles through financial and relationship troubles in Ireland. When Sare traces her father's history straight to Suze's house, Suze is horrified to find out she has a sibling she didn't know about. While Sare wants to finally meet her father, Suze wants nothing to do with him. The sisters embark on a journey that not only tests their differences but reveals some of their similarities.

This series has a simple premise for a comedy, but it's a bit clunky at times. SisterS is an OK watch with humor that's hit or miss with stereotype jokes that fall flat. The relationship building between the main leads is intriguing and vulnerable to watch. The strong language and sexual content make this suitable for older teens.

  • The sisters share the same father, but he was present for one and absent for the other. How does this affect Sare's viewpoint of him? How has his presence affected Suze's relationship with him? Do you think one is right or wrong?
