What's the Story?
In SO DUMB IT'S CRIMINAL, Snoop Dogg and co-host Tacarra Williams showcase video clips of outrageous crimes caught on camera. In each episode, two or three of Snoop's comedian friends, including Ron Funches, Deon Cole, Jim Jeffries, Diallo Riddle, DeRay Davis, and more, offer comedic commentary on the clips. The clips show some of the crime's official names -- like breaking and entering or public indecency -- and what a typical penalty is for the crime.
Is It Any Good?
The show's premise and celebrity stars raise expectations, but the show's only moderately entertaining. So Dumb It's Criminal is reminiscent of Ridiculousness, with its celebrity host and outlandish video clips, but it's also a reminder that this concept has been done before. Snoop Dogg loyalists and comedy fans will tune in to see some of their favorites weigh in, but most of the jokes are only mildly funny. A live studio audience could have brought more energy to the show. Overall, it feels like an inside look at a hangout among friends as opposed to a production featuring big-name stars.
