What's the Story?

In SOUNDTRACK #1, childhood friends Eun-soo (Han So-hee) and Sun-woo (Park Hyung-sik, (In the Soop, Friendcation) are in their 20's, working hard to succeed in their artistic professions. Sun-woo is a photographer whose work is starting to get noticed on the international stage. Eun-soo, a lyricist, is trying to write a song for a famous composer about unrequited love. Told by the composer that her lyrics lack depth, Eun-soo asks her bestie, Sun-woo, to help her understand what unrequited love really means. Will he be able to communicate his real feelings for his friend? Will their friendship survive their ambitions?

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 1 ):

A slow burn that lacks depth, this Korean romance would benefit from spicy twists typical of the genre. Soundtrack #1 is long on longing, but short on excitement; well-paced subplots would enrich this slow-moving series greatly.

Parents can rest assured that their tweens won't be exposed to sexy stuff, but there is a good amount of drinking. There are definitely more whimsical romances out there for this age group.
