What's the Story?

STRONG GIRL NAM-SOON follows a family that has the power of super strength, all passed down through the women of the family. The wealthy Hwang Geum-ju (Jeong-eun Kim) and humble Kang Bong-go (Lee Seung-joon) have been looking for their long-lost "strong" daughter Kang Nam-soon (Lee Yoo-mi) for a decade. While they've been holding strength competitions to find her, Nam-soon has been living in Mongolia with her found family. She realizes that her real family is in Korea, and once she's old enough she sets out to find them. But when someone finally wins the competition, it's assumed that Nam-Soon has finally been found. Webs of drugs, lies, and corruption soon start to erupt. Throughout all the chaos, will Nam-soon's strength be enough to help find her family?

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say : Not yet rated
Kids say ( 2 ):

This series strongly balances complex storylines and unique characters. Strong Girl Nam-Soon is a valiant (but violent) concept brought to life by strong writing and actors. With an ensemble cast, each complicated relationship dynamic is well-acted. The implied sexual content, language, and violence make this series most suitable for older teens.
