Super Duper Bunny League
What's the Story?
In SUPER DUPER BUNNY LEAGUE, a group of ordinary bunnies gain superpowers when evil genius Dr. Fuzzleglove sets his grilled cheese maker to the "super duper" setting and accidentally gives the bunnies "super duper" powers. The Super Duper Bunnies live in a carrot-shaped headquarters just outside Important City. The team includes Stumpy (Miles J. Harvey), with super stretch powers; Middy, with shadow powers; Handsome Steve, with flying and super strength powers (Michael Croner); Bex (Michaela Dietz), with super zapping powers; Derek (Latrice Royale), with super growing powers; and Dr. Annabelle (Ramona Young), with a super-smart brain. In every episode, the bunnies face a silly foe. Sometimes the villain is their accidental creator Dr. Fuzzleglove trying to defeat them with another faulty invention. Other episodes feature a wizard with a dragon that attacks with sour breath or a chocolatier who freezes people in chocolate. The bunnies must use their powers to work together, escaping the villains and saving the world in the process.
Is It Any Good?
Super Duper Bunny League is super-duper fun and will appeal to kids and grown-ups alike. With its comic book animation style and its relatively tame villains and action, it's perfect for superhero fans who may be aging out of preschool shows like Super Kitties and Paw Patrol but are not yet ready for big-kid shows like anything in the Marvel Universe. It's not educational per se, but it's full of positive messages like brainpower being just as awesome as superpowers. There's an equal number of girl and boy bunnies, and they each get their time to shine. Expect lots of silliness throughout, and a super duper good time for everybunny big and small.
