Super Rich in Korea
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
SUPER RICH IN KOREA is a reality series featuring five extremely wealthy people from different countries who live the high life in South Korea. It follows Iraqi influencer Noor Naim, Pakistani royal Anna Kim, Italian chef Teodoro Marine, Singaporean lawyer David Yong, and Yoo See Ra, Korea's only luxury brand client ambassador as they showcase their wealth in different ways. Whether born into wealth or completely self-made, they all enjoy the way Korea can cater to them and their opulent lifestyles. As the cast shops, plays, or brags in each episode, hosts Thai singer BamBam, comedian Cho Saehl, and Korean singer Mimi offer their comments about what we're watching.
Is It Any Good?
The nonsensical series features extremely well-to-do reality cast members showcasing their lifestyles while highlighting their individual connections to Korea. Some of the people in Super Rich in Korea, like Teodoro Marine, were born into wealthy families, while others like Noor Naim, are self-made, and are enjoying the perks of being successful. Many of them have interesting life stories. However, all of them are shown doing little more then talking about or flaunting their money and the privileges it gives them. Meanwhile, the three hosts offer endless silly quips and other thoughts, which add nothing to the overall production. There's not much point to the whole thing, but if you like watching people with lots of cash and little substance, Super Rich in Korea will fit the bill.
