What's the Story?

Based on a Korean webtoon of the same name, SWEET HOME is a Korean horror series about people trying to hold on their humanity during a mid-apocalypse. Cha Hyun-su (Song Kang) is a troubled teenager who has moved into Green Home Apartments, where an eclectic group of residents live. Soon a few neighbors start becoming aggressive, and eventually turn into bloodthirsty zombie-like creatures. Worse is the fact that people outside of the apartment community are also turning into monsters. Now Cha Hyun-su, along with Lee Eun-Yoo (Go Min-Si), Yoon Ji-Su (Park Gyuyoung), Jung Jae-Heon (Kim Nam-Hee), and others in the apartment complex who aren't showing symptoms band together to keep the monsters at bay to survive.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 3 ):
Kids say ( 3 ):

The bloody and suspenseful series features lots of lore and gory moments as people turn into monsters and attack humans, and survivors do what they can to survive. As the Sweet Home story unfolds, sometimes with the help of flashbacks, viewers begin to learn details about what led to this apocalypse. Details about some of Cha Hyan-soo's eclectic neighbors are also revealed throughout. There are moments that feel a little slow and distorted, Sweet Home has some interesting characters and enough scary moments to keep you captivated.
