What's the Story?

TASUKETSU -FATE OF THE MAJORITY- follows Saneatsu Narita (voiced by Yuuto Uemura), an average high school student who lives on his own. His mother has passed away and his father lives overseas, so he spends most of his time with his best friend. One morning he wakes up and nearly his entire town is found dead, aside from about ten students. These students are then met with a Tokyo-wide broadcast by someone called "The Emperor." The Emperor makes an announcement that a question will be asked of the remaining citizens every night and the majority of one answer will be killed that night, until there is only one survivor left. The story then follows these students sticking together in an attempt to survive, some setting the goal to reach and kill the Emperor.

This anime is dark and mature in nature. Tasuketsu -Fate of the Majority- is a psychological thriller that may not be for everyone, especially if they don't enjoy themes of violence and mild gore. The show is suspenseful, somewhat graphic, and there are no instances where the mood is lightened. The mystery of the plot unfolding can also be confusing if the viewer isn't paying close attention.
