What's the Story?

THE BEST HEART ATTACK OF MY LIFE follows the life of ghostwriter Ariel (Alan Sabbagh), who's juggling a failing poetry career, a wife who wants a divorce, and a chain-smoking habit. To make matters worse, his mediocre performance at the office gets him pushed into ghostwriting for awful people with impossible deadlines. But when he heads to work one day, he has no idea that he's 300,000 heartbeats away from a heart attack.

This series places a traumatic life event through a comedic, retrospective lens. The Best Heart Attack of My Life is dark and self-aware. The story unfolds in a simple yet intriguing way, with ordinary, flawed characters. The sexual content, cursing, smoking, and drug use makes this suitable for older viewers.
