The Copenhagen Test
Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
In this series, THE COPENHAGEN TEST is a patriotic loyalty test given to a military agent whose trustworthiness has come into question. When analyst Alexander Hale (Simu Liu) realizes he's been given one, he begins to question everything about his role as an intelligence agent, and discovers answers that change everything about his life.
Is It Any Good?
It's tough to come up with a better premise than the twist on the double agent spy story that opens this series, but the show mostly feels like it's vamping until it gets to the good parts. Certain beats in The Copenhagen Test are repeated until the viewers are allowed to get ahead of the action, and the characters are extremely flat, with only surface-level traits to flesh them out. The Copenhagen Test's plot seems to promise exciting twists galore, but at no point does it feel like the payoffs will be worth the wait.
