The Enchanted Village of Pinocchio
What's the Story?
THE ENCHANTED VILLAGE OF PINOCCHIO launches viewers into the Enchanted Village where Pinocchio and his friends go on magical adventures and solve everyday problems together. His friend group includes an ogre, a wolf, and a cupcake, as well as princes and princesses. Everyone is unique in their own way, and some of them have famous, fairytale parents. From the mystifying forest to the sparkling lake, Pinocchio and his friends never know where their adventures will take them next. They tackle challenges and solve mysteries about fairness, friendship, and myths. The group also engages in silliness and pranks along the way.
Is It Any Good?
This animated show features classic fairytale characters, but doesn't always follow the flow of classic storytelling. The Enchanted Village of Pinocchio is silly and comical, but some storylines could be hard for young viewers to follow because they don't always have a clear set up, or end in a resolution. While this show could have potentially been enriching, by teaching life lessons to viewers, it falls a bit flat and depends more on quirkiness.
