What's the Story?

Wedding bells ring for THE PERFECT COUPLE. At Nantucket Harbor, Amelia Sacks (Eve Hewson) and Benji Winbury (Billy Howle) are gearing up for their fast-approaching wedding day. Marrying into the Winbury fortune is not going to be easy, with criticisms from Winbury matriarch Greer (Nicole Kidman) or the resentment radiating off her oldest son Thomas (Jack Reynor.) Paired with Amelia's middle-class background, the couple can't escape judgment and doubts about their union. But when the body of maid-of-honor Merrit (Meghann Fahy) washes up on shore, the wedding bells come to a screeching halt.

This series blends well into the murder "whodunit" genre. The Perfect Couple mixes colorful (and sometimes insufferable) personalities and a bit of dark humor into its mystery. Despite some of the stars in this ensemble, it's average, but it still has a bit of intrigue. The language, sex, and violence make this suitable for older teens.
