What's the Story?

Marco, Lily, Gorby, Willow, Chester, and Nash are THE POLOS, a group of colorful animal friends who go on adventures together. The Polos themselves are animated, but the places they explore are photorealistic; for example, a trip to the jungle brings the crew face to face with real animals and habitats. Their travels also lead them under the water and even to space. Each episode includes songs that tie into the day's theme.

Is It Any Good?

This charming series has a bright, energetic vibe without being frenetic, and kids will enjoy getting to know each Polo personality as well as learning about STEAM subjects. The musical adventures in The Polos, while brief, give kid viewers lots of info to chew on, and the songs are catchy and packed with facts about critters like cuttlefish who can camouflage themselves, or why it's important to pick up after yourself for the good of the planet.
