This military drama series features strategic submarine battles and intense tension. The Silent Service is a decent drama with suspense and tough moral choices; good acting and writing brings the drama of submarine conflicts to life. Even though it doesn't go deep into characters, the fast-moving story and strategy games are engaging and entertaining. The series is outlandish, but it does have some moments that make you think deeply about submarine battles and the minds behind them. It's full of action and tension, which might attract teens and adults who like military stories.
