What's the Story?

Matt Remick (Seth Rogen) just got the break of his life: He's been made head of THE STUDIO. But he's already made a promise he doesn't want to keep—to produce a big-budget Hollywood blockbuster based on ... Kool-Aid. Along with his fast-talking buddy Sal Saperstein (Ike Barinholtz) and loyal assistant Quinn (Chase Sui Wonders), Remick must weather the whims of other folks in the industry to survive. With lots of heavy-hitting guest stars like Martin Scorsese, Sarah Polley, and Steve Buscemi, this series gives viewers a bird's-eye view of the life of one very stressed-out executive.

Is It Any Good?

This chaotic series is a fun ride through the ins and outs of Hollywood from an executive's POV. All of Matt's lies and conniving weave a wild web as he tries to stay on top of The Studio. Some viewers might find it a little stressful, while others will love the hijinks. You definitely have to have an interest in Hollywood insiders to get the most of this series, but film fans will be charmed by the hapless Matt, who's effortlessly embodied by pro Rogen.
