Parent and Kid Reviews
What's the Story?
THE TINIES are a group of toys that were left behind in the attic. Together, they built Attic Town, a cozy community where everyday mishaps become opportunities to grow and connect. Ollie and her best friend Titus are clever craft-makers who can solve any problem with creativity and care. Through friendship, teamwork, and imagination, every day feels like playtime.
Is It Any Good?
This series features beautiful animation with vivid colors and characters and objects that viewers can easily recognize. Both toys and settings in The Tinies are realistically designed to look like forgotten pieces, left behind in an attic. It speaks to kids' vivid imagination and wonder of "what happens to their toys" when there's no one watching, but it's also exciting for parents and caretakers who may recognize some of the references from a past era.
While the show is mostly entertainment, its DIY element could inspire creativity and spark conversation as families work together to replicate characters' inventions in real life.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about the toys in The Tinies and the many materials they can identify on screen. Could you create your own show using similar materials?
Misinformation is the spread of false information without malicious intent. Disinformation is when there's an intention to deceive others, like the "know-it-all" computer in the show. Can you name some of the dangers of believing things that aren't true?
How can we protect ourselves from disinformation and verify whether information is real or not?
