Good enough for children 10 and up!

Obviously not any role models and terrible representation of the lgbtq+ community, I personaly enjoy it and am pretty young and think that children 10 and up could watch if they are mature enough and can deal with some heavy topics. Overall good show any way I am a little late too it I think that 10 up can watch.

Not for young kids

There is lots of drugs usage, there is murder for hire, there is one person who accidentally kts, there is gay marriage but personally i dont have a problem with that, there is animal abuse, so if you are a mature kid or if u have a mature kid i think this would be fine.

Incredibly written and performed documentary has sex, violence, drinking

Tiger king is hands down one of the most best Netflix documentary’s of all time. The plot of the documentary kept getting interesting and it really does keep on you on the edge of your seat. It is about the joe exotic tiger trainer going against a lady who wants to close the exotic zoo and rescue the tigers. This show does contain plenty of violence and some gory images of dead animals and people. It’s very hard to watch as there are scenes of animals in peril. And the plot also involves talking about the death of joe exotic’s “husband” and it is implied that he is gay. And joe and his husband are shown kissing. Also lots of dirty and sexual dialogue jokes are said. And expect some profanity throughout the series. Drinking and drugs are also briefly shown throughout some episodes. Tiger king is just a spine chilling masterpiece documentary that will always keep you interested. A must watch!!!!

Only watched one episode, it was very vague. Also very questionable.

This documentry i'd say is very controversial for kids under 14 or 15. There is a lot of questionable stuff in the documentry, like how Joe exotic was a polygamist, and how he threatened murder to someone. It also has a lot of sexual references, about pornography and homosexuality, (subjects that parents may not agree on). I'd say this show would be good for teens 16 and up.

Its Like if the Cohen Brothers directed a movie starring David Spade if he went into the witness protection program

Its a documentary about Joe exotic who's a gay, polygamist, tiger owner who ran for president? And hired a hitman? Anyway its a well-made documentary but it does show animal abuse and talks about sex and druguse and a lady may have killed her husband, he "disappeared"(allegedly) Overall its an interesting documentary And is good if you like True Crime

Its quite a weird show.

Joe is gay and is also married to 2 other guys. This show includes animal abuse, a lil bit of murder, drugs, etc... but if you believe your child is mature enough to handle that- then go for it, its actually not that bad of a show.

Messy, entertaining documentary that teens can handle

Content wise: expect a fair amount of swearing with every type of swear word under the sun. Violence is not too much of a problem - expect animal abuse (not too explicit) and others. Sexual content is not explicit, but sexual topics are discussed at length - topics like polygamy and sex cults come up - keep in mind, though, that this only comes up in a few episodes. I think a mature teenager could handle the documentary, the content was not terrible. There are no great messages or role models in this documentary.
