3 Stars?!? WTF?

Tom and Jerry is for all ages but there are some black stereotypes and smoking and there’s a short called Downhearted Duck where a duck tries to kill himself but other than that it’s family friendly...

A true classic

Tom and Jerry is funny and entertaining. However there is a lot of cartoon violence. In one episode Tom is executed (execution is not shown).

You can’t beat the classics!

I as a 13 year old, grew up with not only this, but old Disney and Warner Bros. I instantly fell in love with the show when I got my first DVD of the show. While the violence isn’t for small kids, it’s safe to say to let your older kids have at it since they know better. I’d hate to sound like one of those “boomers” but the newer stuff just doesn’t add up to the creative freedom the shows had back then.

Ugh

I never understood the point of Tom and Jerry. All they do is chase each other around for the whole show. BORING! Once we had a Tom and Jerry movie on at school. We didn’t finish it the next day because my teacher said, and I quote, “I’ve had enough of Tom and Jerry”.

Too much violence
