What's the Story?

TRACKER follows Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley), a man who has the unique job of tracking the hardest of missing persons cases. He and his team work outside of police jurisdiction and save people who might not have been found through policework alone.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:

On the surface, this series might seem like another CBS procedural, but it manages to stand apart thanks to its focus on making diversity an integral part to its group of characters. Diversity isn't addressed in a "special episode" type of way in Tracker. Instead, the characters are naturally woven into the story. They also exmplify different areas of intersectionality, with the biggest example being Bob Exley (Eric Graise), a computer whiz who is both a person of color and a double amputee. It is rare to have a character like Bob on screen, so this is a very big win in terms of how to showcase diversity in all its forms.

The story itself is full of action, with spots of intrigue when it comes comes to Colter's (Hartley) past and the overarching mystery of his father's death. Overall, Tracker is a fun addition to the CBS procedural pantheon.
