What's the Story?

In TRAVELING WITH SNOW MAN, the idol band meets up on the Japanese island of Okinawa, anticipating a cool trip planned by Hikaru Iwamoto, one of the band's leaders. He discloses that they'll be celebrating their band's anniversary by traveling together to points of interest throughout Japan. He wants them to love and appreciate where they come from, though they've traveled the world. Will the help of a computer companion aid them on their journeys? Or will they rely on each other?

Nine Japanese idols, who form the boy band Snow Man, get together to explore their home country in this slow-moving hangout-style show. If watching celebs grocery shop or flop around on chaise lounges floats your boat, then this show's for you.

Traveling with Snow Man does provide glimpses of what makes Japan a beautiful and unique country. Though the refined traditions are served up like treats to these mellow idols, the show lacks intrigue. Best for fans of the band.
