What's the Story?
In TRIVIAL PURSUIT, the iconic board game of the same name comes to life as three contestants face off in a trivia competition hosted by LeVar Burton (of Reading Rainbow fame). Players answer questions across various categories in hopes of earning all of the iconic category wedges for bonus points, all while competing for a top prize of $20,000.
Is It Any Good?
With the same intellectual appeal as Jeopardy, this series offers viewers a chance to test their knowledge while cheering for their favorite contestants. The twist of collecting category wedges adds a strategic element to Trivial Pursuit. Burton brings a comforting presence to the host's role, especially during contestant chats. While the $20,000 prize is decent, it may feel small compared to the million-dollar prizes offered by other game shows.
