What's the Story?

UNDEAD UNLUCK centers around a woman named Fuuko (voiced by Moe Kahara) who has the supernatural ability to cause "unluck" -- usually an extreme death -- for anyone who touches her skin. While contemplating suicide Fuuko meets a strange man named Andy (Yuichi Nakamura) who's seemingly immortal. Andy wishes to find a death that can actually kill him and let him rest from his long life, and he believes Fuuko's ability can grant him this. The two team up to find the "greatest death ever" that can finally kill Andy. Meanshile, a shadow organization also begins hunting them in hope of harnessing their strange powers.

Is It Any Good?

Our review:
Parents say ( 2 ):
Kids say ( 2 ):

This strange anime has some interesting ideas, but its distasteful and questionable beginning is hard to look past. Undead Unluck is a supernatural-focused anime with characters that have some unique abilities. The series doesn't explain everything right out of the gate, so there's the potential for some intriguing mystery and cool reveals regarding the bizarre characters. Be aware, though, there's a lot of distasteful fan service and uncomfortable sexual content that feels cringey and inappropriate.
