What's the Story?

In the perfectly normal town of Sundsheim, the perfectly normal Klatts family is wondering: WHERE'S WANDA? After seventeen-year-old Wanda Klatt (Lea Drinda) leaves on a red Vespa the day of a neighborhood festival, she's never seen again. Carlotta and Dedo Klatt (Heike Makatsch, Axel Stein) are convinced that she's been abducted and will stop at nothing to find her. From planting surveillance cameras on their neighbors to butting heads with the police, the Klatts must find Wanda before day 100, or their chance of finding her drops to ten percent.

Is It Any Good?

This series struggles to balance its physical comedy and themes of loss with solid breadcrumbs of a mystery. Where's Wanda? is a mixed bag of humor, mystery, and emotion. The pacing of the story makes it bit clunky, but still intriguing enough to give the mystery a try for patient viewers. Despite the language and violence, it's suitable for most teens.
