It's Punk'd on regular folks, and it's painful to watch.

What's the Story?
Punk'd co-creators Jason Goldberg and Ashton Kutcher team up again on WHO GETS THE LAST LAUGH? a half-hour hidden-camera show that turns the prank cannon on ordinary folks instead of celebrities. Each week, Donald Faison hosts three celebrities -- like Andy Dick and Bam Margera -- who visit and present the results of pranks they set up and carried out. The audience hears how the prank was set up, then sees several different victims suffering through the prank. At the end, the celeb and camera people pop out of the woodwork, and everyone choruses (you guessed it!) WHO GETS THE LAST LAUGH?
Is It Any Good?
Who gets the last laugh? Not anyone capable of empathy, even though the sounds-like-a-laughtrack audience seems to ho-ho-ho at the poor people who lose an envelope full of $100,000 cash on their first day in a new assistant job or who park by a portable toilet for 15 minutes and come out to find their car drenched in toilet paper and "human feces" (it was really just yogurt, whew! Wait, hey, the lady's car is still covered in yogurt!). Oh, ha ha, the lady got really upset when you told her the formaldehyde in the toilet liquid has probably damaged her paint job by now!
Punk'd was barely tolerable because at least the people being pranked were celebrities, i.e. people you'd like to see brought down a peg. Watching regular people get pulled over by fake cops or flip out when someone "steals" their car from a car wash isn't funny, it's mean. Candid Camera succeeded by playing harmless and amusing tricks that didn't make anyone cry, Punk'd by targeting celebs, and Jackass by pulling pranks that hurt the idiots doing them, not bystanders. This show is just mean, awkward, and painful, none of which is funny.

Have you seen any other prank shows, such as Punk'd, Candid Camera, or Betty White's Off Their Rockers? How is Who Gets the Last... like those shows? How is it different?
Who Gets the Last Laugh? combines a prank show with a game show, except that the celebrity participants win money for charity. Why do most game shows award charity money to celebrity contestants?
