Wickedly Sweet: A Descendants Short Story
What's the Story?
In WICKEDLY SWEET: A DESCENDANTS SHORT STORY, Chloe, Red, and Bridget have their hands on the Sorcerer's Cookbook and are excited to try a magical recipe. As the girls think about which treats to make, Uliana suggests doing something wicked instead. While each girl sings their reasons for being wicked or sweet, they don't notice a mysterious figure is watching them with plans of their own.
Is It Any Good?
Think of it like bonus content for franchise-lovers. Wickedly Sweet: A Descendants Short Story is a brief special, packed with references that only fans of both Disney's Descendants trilogy and the spin-off, Descendants: The Rise of Red, will understand. It has familiar characters, artifacts, and two hit songs blended together. However, the stop-motion technique using dolls and the simple storytelling give it a promotional feel, aimed at younger viewers than the original films.
For parents, it's worth noting this isn't a full episode; you may wish to manage your kids' expectations to avoid disappointment.
