123 COLOR HD TALKING COLORING BOOK FOR iPAD is probably the best color-by-numbers app available. There are plenty of fun pictures to choose from, and toddlers can definitely practice their 123s and ABCs by filling in the hues on these pre-planned images. There's a map of the world image that can also help kids learn where the different continents are. And thankfully -- as kids will most certainly want a chance to re-color pics with their own choice of hues -- there's a free coloring mode as well. That free color mode offers suggestions in its default mode, so you'll probably want to disable those or kids will assume they're still supposed to use the denoted colors. As a click-and-fill coloring app, 123 Color is a simple and easy one for toddler to use and will also engage elementary-age kids too.
