What's It About?

In Amazon: Hidden Expedition, kids search 50 scenes on a mission to find a missing professor in the Amazon, getting clues when they complete a scene. Some of the found objects carry through to other scenes, where kids can use them to find other objects or to solve mini-puzzles. For example, a key found in one scene unlocks a drawer to discover a passport somewhere else. Figuring out these elements and solving the mini-puzzles really can encourage kids to keep playing. A multiplayer mode lets kids share the fun with others on the same device.

AMAZON: HIDDEN EXPEDITION is a fun game of hunting for hidden objects for those who have outgrown I Spy-type games. This app will last kids a while, with 50 hidden object screens. Many of the screens are fairly dark, so kids need a sharp eye to spot some of the objects, but there are three built-in hint levels to help kids when they get stuck. The occasional puzzles in the app can be confusing for kids since there are little to no instructions, however. The Amazon theme is nicely carried throughout the app, and kids can listen to their own iPod music as they play the game.
