What’s It About?
To get started with CANTICOS BILINGUAL PRESCHOOL, create an account using an email. Grown-ups will be asked a series of questions about their child, including name, birthday, and current reading ability, which the app uses to personalize kids' bilingual experience. Parents are also asked to choose a target language. Although the app launches in the target language, kids can switch between English and Spanish at any time by tapping on the language button on the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
The home screen has seven categories to for little ones to choose from: let's play, learn, videos, music, stickers, books, and art. The content is a collection of phonics and number sense games, vocabulary games, songs, books, videos, and some coloring and sticker pages. Kids can navigate most components by tapping the screen, although some components require drag and drop or the use of digital art tools. They'll hear directions aloud and can tap on the music note button on the bottom of the screen to have them repeated. After the free trial, a subscription is required to enjoy all features. The subscription can be used across multiple devices. Without a subscription kids can access a limited number of games, songs, videos, and features.

Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about different ways to take in-app learning offline when using Canticos Bilingual Preschool. Encourage little ones to find things in their environment that begin with specific letter sounds. It's a great opportunity to play I Spy.
