A Lot or a Little?
The parents' guide to what's in this app.
What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Crazy Piano! is a wholeheartedly kid-friendly sound manipulation app. The game offers six "bands" that consist of four funny-looking and colorful characters; each makes a different silly noise when tapped. Players can create their own "songs" by tapping the characters in different rhythms, or play one of three short ditties by tapping at the correct times when prompted.

Is It Any Good?
CRAZY PIANO! is colorful, quirky, and fun app that's desperately in need of a few updates to flesh out its fantastic concept. While a little short on substance (you can play through the three "songs" in a matter of seconds), there's plenty of entertainment to be had by simply tapping the googly-eyed characters and seeing what hilarious noises come out of their gigantic mouths in freestyle mode. With a few key additions, such as more rhythm game challenges and the ability for players to save their compositions and share them with friends, this could be a killer app. As it stands, Crazy Piano! has lots of potential but is little more than a nutty timewaster.
