What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Dungeon Scroll is a word game, with a twist. The twist is that the game is set in a series of dungeons, and players have to take down a variety of creatures (skeletons, bombs, snakes, etc.) along the way. Instead of attacking them with a normal set of weapons and magic spells, though, enemies are slowly defeated as players make their way through a word puzzle on the bottom of the screen.

Is It Any Good?
DUNGEON SCROLL is part word game, part "dungeon crawler." How many games can say that? This intriguingly unique juxtaposition of game mechanics makes it a refreshing and compelling experience. The dungeon-crawler aspect is not quite fully fleshed out and only exists as a reward for completing the word puzzles, but it still makes the intellectual part of the game more interesting. The idea of arranging jumbled letters to form words has been used again and again, but this game manages to turn it into something completely new.
