What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Egg vs Chicken is an arcade puzzle game where the goal is to defeat waves of attacking chickens by lobbing eggs at them. Players match three or more like-colored eggs in the bottom half of the screen to create a cluster, then flick the cluster up at the chickens. The violence is cartoonish: chickens sport black eyes if damaged, and disappear when defeated. Users can share high scores via the Game Center social network, but participation is strictly optional.

Is It Any Good?
EGG VS CHICKEN is a fast-paced twist on match-3 and falling block puzzle games with a little of the gameplay that made Plant vs. Zombies so popular, all presented in a funny, cartoonish manner. There's not a great deal of variation across the game's 36 levels besides a handful of power-ups and a few different kinds of eggs and chickens, but the game is fun nonetheless, and boasts straightforward controls and good production values too.
