What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Escape Rosecliff Island is a hidden object game where players search cluttered scenes for lists of random objects such as "rooster," "hat" and "dollar sign." Some of the objects are presented as simple clues like "nut gatherer" for squirrel, or "twisted dough" for pretzel. In between searches, players complete a variety of mini-games such as word searches, memory matches, and match-3 puzzle games. There's not much of a story to speak of, and no objectionable content.

Is It Any Good?
ESCAPE ROSECLIFF ISLAND is a basic hidden object game with a handful of puzzle mini-games and a plotline that is barebones. It finds players trapped on a mysterious island that they must explore to collect key items that will help them to escape. The hidden object scenes -- which mostly depict the interiors of abandoned buildings on the island -- are enjoyable, as is the soundtrack, but it's disappointing that there's not much of a story to tie everything together.
