What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Flick Golf! is an entertaining golf arcade game with intuitive controls and plenty of challenges. There are some privacy and safety concerns if the user opts in to Open Feint. This app is purely about the golf without any extra narrative and doesn't have anything objectionable for younger players.

Is It Any Good?
FLICK GOLF! is a well-designed golf arcade game that is easy to pick up and play but difficult to master. The graphics are very well done with 3D environments and animated fly-overs of the golf courses. There are two modes, Quickshot and World Tour, and in each mode there are multiple golf courses to unlock. Quickshot gives you 90 seconds to score as many points as possible, with additional time added for a hole-in-one or bulls-eye shot (near the pin). World Tour gives you 9 holes on three courses, with different score levels for bronze, silver and gold awards.
The controls are well-done: flick the ball to hit it, and then swipe anywhere on the screen to apply curves and spin to the ball as it is in the air. Points are awarded based on how close the ball is to the hole, as well as additional bonuses for spin, hitting the pin, or the elusive "perfect shot" that lands directly in the hole. While it's not real golf (you only get one shot to get to the hole) it's a fun game that's hard to put down.
