Galaxy Attack: Alien Shooter

Hi all. I am not a parent; however, I have been using this app game. The chat tends to be full of spam. There is no way to disable it, and there are not moderators. I have contacted the developers through the menu options and feedback. I have requested and offered to be a moderator on there, seeing as I have experience moderating both forums and chatrooms. This seems to have fallen on deaf ears, so to speak. In the chat, there is much spam and swearing and other adult-related chatting. As a new user, trying to interact is not always easy. It is much harder when you have opposing views about things - namely religion and politics, of course. Those long-time users of the app and chat all gang-up on others, so new ones can't get any footing hardly at all nor share their opposing views. Some of the users also have multiple accounts, so they pretend to be different users but actually are the same person, so trying to reply to each of them makes you reply too much; therefore, the chat slows you down, like flood-control (which some on there call timing you out, which technically is not what it is). This flood control (i.e. to stop you flooding the chat with repeated messages) increases to as much as 200+ seconds, possibly more; so if they are still ganging-up on you, you cannot reply, and they are being trolls and attacking you. Part of the spam and flooding involves "booming" - a long message full of empty space (but not spaces, somehow) which fills up the chat screen, usually with the word "boom" in it. I personally have also gone as far as sharing the link to a forum which I created before being on there, for chat/debate (rpcdebateforum.freeforums.net) while the spamming and flooding has been happening, but no-one seems to care. I am confused as to why they prefer to be on an unmoderated chat which is full of spam, flooding, attacking, bullying and things - where Children may very well be present - instead of a moderated platform for chatting. It is not decent. The game is OK (in my opinion), but the chat tends to not be OK.

I played this game for a year and a half. Got really high up in the game. There was some kind of glitch in the game and they took away my rating started me from beginning again Ying in their customer service treated me horribly wouldnt help me at all and took the 1000 dollars I have spent on the game Would not help me at all. Do not ever play this game

Fun adrenaline rush trying to raise your level. Fun upgrades to your ships. But the single PVP permits highest level ships, lvl 150 with uber gear to fight levels more than half their level ...so net results: you die over and over...no fun at all. After sending them feedback for 2 months on this crappy algorithm, they just keep saying be patient...all the while...so not fun.

This used to be a great game about 2 years ago. Now, since the last year or so, the developers seem focussed on only making players pay. They use unfair and sneaky tactics to slant the game play in favor of paying players, by not calling out fair victories, putting additional challenges in the PVP mode for non-paying players and generally creating a game play that 'suggests' that you pay out of sheer frustration. Recently, they have started erasing progress via an alert that pops up multiple times a day saying 'Data is synced with this device, restart to proceed'. This erases all progress from the last save. They also block you from saving gameplay on Google via a pop-up that says 'Connection error occured! Please try again later'. This pops up 30-40 times in a row, regardless of great broadband or wifi. Wouldn't let you post critiques on Facebook page and will not respond or reinstate your losses, when you communicate on FB messenger. Getting disgusted. Google should intervene.

The game seems pretty straight forward and my 9yr old son likes the concept and power-ups. However, the reason I’ve given it 1 star is because of the global and Clan based chat function that has no ability for parent to disable. When my son showed me the feature (well done him), the first few comments I saw has racist content. Shocking that an App aimed at Kids has zero parent controls on a Chat channel.

This game was really fun. However, like anything, you have to spend about $2,000 before you can get to VIP 12. What really hurt this game is the hackers. It's completely ruined now. I would think that the developer would try to fix it but there's no way they'll fix it. All online games now are crap bc of hackers. It's a shame

This was a great game until they changed the endless mode and the aliens all have shields and very difficult to get past level 5. I was getting to level 35 before they changed it. If you want to advance u need to shell out real money now. Shame how these companies will take a good game, get you hooked on it then change it and want you to spend money , shame, shame, shame. Don’t waste your time, play another game.
