A lot or a little?

The parents' guide to what's in this app.

Ease of Play

Players get pointers during the first level but that's it. Fortunately it's not too difficult to pick up playing cues that help you figure out how to build the best defense. When you're down to your last 1 health points a spoken countdown begins, warning you the jig's almost up.

Is it any good?

Kids who can't get enough of tower defense games will find this one a lot of fun if difficult to play at first. The playing field looks like a giant honeycomb and "creeps" must be defeated by building complicated mazes. It's a dense and intense game of strategy that requires observation and a lot of trial and error - because there's little help. However, once they get the hang of it, geoDefense will win over kids - and no small number of parents, too.
