Use snot to fight a monster in cute but gross game.
A Lot or a Little?
What you will—and won't—find in this app.
Ease of Play
The instructions are included within the game as kids play, and the levels gradually get more difficult. The instructions and the game in general are fairly language-independent. The only way to get back to the main menu without quitting the app, however, seems to be to pause the game and then skip the current level. This will give you access to the main menu.
Violence & Scariness
There is mild cartoon violence when either the main character or the monster is captured/eaten. The monster and character reappear unharmed. The main character sneezes with snot apparent; and that sneeze can be used to control environmental objects. The monster is drawn to the sneezes because he likes to eat the snot.

Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Gesundheit! HD is an adventure game where players guide a snot-spewing sneezing character around a town, collecting starfruit while leading a monster to a trap. The monster is attracted to the sneezes because he likes to eat the green snot. As players progress to higher and higher levels, more instruction is given, and more challenges and tools appear. Controlling the game's character is as simple as tapping a spot to indicate where it should move. Aim the character's green sneezes to activate buttons or to attract the monster to certain spots. Levels are scored based on the time they took to complete, how many starfruit were gathered, and how many sneezes were used. The first couple of levels are set up so that the monster can't get to the sneezing character that kids control, so kids can learn how to play without worrying about getting eaten. OpenFeint and Game Center are both options for sharing scores with others.

Is It Any Good?
GESUNDHEIT! HD takes a very cute interface and a slightly gross premise and creates a fun adventure and logic game. There is no one single solution to each level, so there is plenty of room for experimentation and variation. If players get eaten by the monster or run into the trap themselves, the level just starts over. The monster runs quickly, so players need to act fast if he is chasing them. Higher levels have more sophisticated challenges and more options for moving around and fighting the monster.
