MATH EASY HD teaches simple number concepts using ten mini-games, from connecting the dots to performing addition and subtraction to skip counting (counting by twos, threes, etc.). The games use colorful illustrations of animals, trains, helicopters, and other things children will find appealing. By using both printed and spoken instructions, the app is easy for even non-reading children to use, and the games cover a range of difficulty levels. Also, when an exercise is completed successfully, it uses more difficult numbers the second time to increase the level of learning. The home screen can be customized to look like a certificate of achievement, including the child's photo, name, and age. Math Easy HD isn't spectacular, but provides solid educational components for young children in a way that is fun without too many distractions.

One feature that would have been nice, however, was the ability to skip the instructions once you've heard them. They're read slowly and clearly each time you start a new game.
