What parents need to know

Parents need to know that Mega Bloks is a puzzle game that combines match-3 play with a Tetris-style speed -- at a pace that has the potential to frustrate players. Your goal is to bring together 3 interlocking blocks of the same color by dragging them around. While you're doing this, goo is traveling through the tunnel destroying the bricks. There are various special blocks, including bombs, to help increase your score. The difficulty increases with each level, but even the first level is a challenge.

Is it any good?

MEGA BLOKS is an interesting twist on other match-3 and block-style puzzle games. Unfortunately, the game moves very quickly, and it's easy to fall behind as you try to unstick blocks of different colors and then match them with two like-pieces. Goo follows quickly behind you, destroying pieces and forcing you to move forward with matches incomplete. The speed of the game may be a fun challenge for some users, but it's just as likely that the inability to use any real strategy will ruin the game for puzzle fans.
