What's It About?

MOSHOW - SLIDESHOW MOVIE MAKER is a creative tool that allows kids to turn their pictures and music into animated slideshows for sharing. Kids start by adding images from their device library. They then choose a layout, transitions, and special effects. After they sort their images, add titles, and crop them, they can choose music. MoShow - Slideshow Movie Maker comes with over 60 tracks in categories such as pop, EDM, rock, folk, hip-hop, reggae, orchestral, and country. Kids can also import music from the device library. When it's time to save, kids can save to their device or share with friends and family with parental help. Free accounts are limited to 30 seconds of video. If kids go over, they are offered three choices: upgrade, edit, or save only 30 seconds.

Is It Any Good?

This is a quick way to take treasured pictures and bring them together in a fun and lively video that can be shared with friends and family. MoShow - Slideshow Movie Maker makes it easy to create something with professional looking results and not a lot of time, effort, or knowledge. Users will sacrifice on controlling the finer details for simplicity of use, but there are other tools for those who want to get into the nitty-gritty. Although a tutorial or walkthrough wouldn't hurt, MoShow - Slideshow Movie Maker is fairly foolproof. At the time of review, it didn't work to upload a MoShow to Facebook. And, despite promises that the VIP account removes ads, we didn't see any ads (other than some pressure to upgrade) while making four free videos. Overall, with some discussion around purchases and sharing, it's a potentially fun, creative tool for kids.
