When I was 15 I added this app to make friends. I was enjoying the app then not. Someone told me if I didn't prove that I was myself that I couldnt have the app anymore. BTW they said they were the owners of the app. I said sure what do I have to do because I am not a catfish. They told me to send pictures of my face and etc. So, I did then they asked me for nudes, so I deleted to app. Then I started getting messages all over my social media, facebook ,messenger ,instagram, snapchat, skype, email,etc. They blew me up no matter how many times I've blocked them. The guy named Daniel Carter that says he works for MyLol, me and him talked so they would leave me alone. Me and him ended up getting close and then we started liking each other. HE WAS 22 AND I WAS 15. We sent told me to send pictures of myself. I was stupid at that time and did and when I refused to send him anymore nudes, he found all of my socials and threatened to post my photos EVERYWHERE and tried texting my FAMILY. He messed with me for 3 years and I kept blocking him and he kept making face accounts. BE CAREFUL YALL.

This app is for teens 13-19. Stop calling 18 n 19 year olds adults 😒

I gave this site one star because there was no zero option. This is a hook-up site, plain and simple. Kids connect with others hoping to establish an online relationship consisting chiefly of sexting.

This is definitely the most disgusting, dangerous and unsafe site/app I’ve ever came across. There are so many disgusting and filthy minded men on here and they will literally groom you and beg you to send nudes. Not to mention that all these men are 20-40 years old and they’re all pedophiles as well. Please DO NOT ever go on MyLol otherwise you are putting your life in serious jeopardy!

The app should be nuked. Alongside every. single. one. of them people. The app is full of pedophiles that will try to get a hold of a minor that just created an account the first moment they will get in the app. Avoid at all cost. I wish the people in there will stand before justice at some point, and the people that decided to create an app for "teen dating", to explain what on earth they had in mind. Again, DO NOT, DO NOT DOWNLOAD this app. If you are a child reading this, DO NOT download this.

Horrible. I tried a couple times logging in and creating an account and within a couple hours it would log me out saying my account was permanently deleted even though I had it verified to show I was a legit person and not faking anything nor posting anything inappropriate. Also, it says ages 13-19 are allowed, but I saw several profiles that were over that age, which is supposed to be against the rules of the website. As for the matching of people , it showed me the same people on repeat over and over again even if I said I didn’t want to meet or chat. There were several users on there who I saw were into more adult and more mature themed things that I would not recommend for a 13 year old, which is what the app states how old at a minimum you need to be. No one under the age of fifteen should be on this website , especially since there are people who lie about their age and are over the age they’re supposed to be for this website in the first place. Overall it was a horrible website(or app if you can get it with your phone, mine only allows website) and a waste of time as well as too many fake profiles and those over the age of 19. Better luck trying something else.

Get your kids and children off this app. I got molested by one of the guys on here when I was 14! (Their is a news article about it) When I turned 17 I met this sadistic crazy no way to describe this man he is a sociopath. I went on one date and fell in love with him I even have 2 kids with him but for our safety hes outta the kids lives. This website needs to be shut down their are so many men grooming young kids. Plz talk about stranger danger with your kids.

Parents, DO NOT let your children on this app. Found out my brother was using it so I downloaded it to see what it was all about and within 5 minutes, I had 3 dudes message me asking for explicit photos and messages. Deleted my account within a half hour of setting it up. There is so much talk of sex, drugs, and alcohol it's unreal. Also curious as to why it's aimed at 13-18 year olds when it's rated 17+ on the play store. Perfect feeding ground for pedos and groomers. Keep your kids safe.

To get a proper review I had to get a lot of grounds to my statements. Please bare with me; MYLOL is the #1 leading dating forum in the US, Australia, UK and Canada. The app was funded the 1st of May, 2013, and is owned by Benoit Tessier. The current status of MYLOL is “active”. When signing up for the first time it’s like any other social media,- you’re presented to a page where you fill in username, as custom password and other obligatory personal data. The app comes with a regular terms and conditions agreement, like any other forum. It also tells you to be yourself, be respectful, about making sexual propositions, and about spam and repetitive posting. When registered you have to with for the administrators to verify your account, and this could take up to 12 hours. From this point you have unlimited access to all social features (within the standard none-subscription membership. What first caught my attention was the activity in the “shouts section” (an area where all users can comment whatever they want, with a 30 seconds wait between each message). What I see is shocking. Some of the shouts are offensive, racist or totally out of place. Then I take a closer look on the profiles. Some of the pictures doesn’t seem to fit to the given age on the profiles, sometimes not even gender. And some of the pictures are explicit and breeches all user agreements. And it gets worse. As soon as I start showing signs of activity, multiple messages pops up like toads out of nowhere. I see a frequent pattern of people having a very vulgar and inappropriate approach. Sometimes I’m called names that you simply don’t put on a stranger, and I also receive pictures that should never be sent at me, in the first place. Yes, I also get requests about sending equal content back. What scares me even more is that some of these users are not older than secondary school students. I did some more research and find several clues. The app is intended as a dating forum. In the settings you can adjust age filter and gender to make it easier to find alternative matches. While the highest age is 19, the lowest age is a whopping 13! Can you imagine a 19 year old person hitting up on a 13 years old child, on the internet? The age gap is 6 years, and that’s a lot! A child, (not even me), isn’t always able to tell when a person really is who they say they are. Besides this, I get messages from grown men that seems to be way older than 19, and I see children (yes, children, below 15+) post inappropriate content that in my opinion should be brought up to a parents attention, with an instant! These are clear signs that things are blown out of proportion! Out of place! If the administrators have any control at all, it’s at the minimal! From what I see, this is an open door for pedophiles and other creepy people! Children should not be here! On top of this, the administrators have left the forum. I sent an inquiry to custom support and nothing. They didn't respond. My message simply got deleted! It turned out the admins left years ago, since then MYLOL has been completely operated by automatics. I’m convinced that this app needs more attention from the parents side. Please, keep your children away from this app. It’s not safe for minors under 18+, and I don’t see the reason for a child to hang out there anyway. (These are personal opinions from my point of view. I do not intend to offend anyone. Anything that’s said above is not necessarily aimed towards specific individuals).
