Did we miss something on diversity?
Research shows a connection between kids' healthy self-esteem and positive portrayals in media. That's why we've added a new "Diverse Representations" section to our reviews that will be rolling out on an ongoing basis. You can help us help kids by suggesting a diversity update.

A Lot or a Little?
The parents' guide to what's in this app.
What Parents Need to Know
Parents need to know that Pinball is a basic pinball game with some unique tables, such as bowling, soccer, and even a Space Inavders-style layout. There are seven tables of varying complexities (the seventh is a Christmas theme), but none have the intricate gameplay you'd expect to find in a larger-scale game. At the end of each game, players have the option of uploading their scores to a high score table using a username that is set in the options section. The in-game content is tame, but the inclusion of banner ads at the top of the screen makes the content unpredictable. Expect for curious kids to tap on these ads and end up on outside websites. Read the developer's privacy policy for details on how your (or your kids') information is collected, used, and shared and any choices you may have in the matter, and note that privacy policies and terms of service frequently change.

Is It Any Good?
PINBALL is creative and a nice way to pass time while waiting in line, but it's not going to wow true pinball fans. The tables lack depth and stories, and the ball can sometimes be lost in the tables with more colorful backgrounds. The ads are a concern for parents of younger children. The tables deviate from normal pinball play (especially the Space Invaders design), but that's what keeps this app from becoming just another mediocre pinball game. It's free, so if the ads aren't a concern, it's worth a download.
