Engaging for underlying math concepts

Super engaging and fun. And no ads! Good balance between underlying math concepts and some fun. Too many "math" apps let someone play while avoiding the math.

Figuring out how to strategically slice and drop pieces of ice and lava is not only great fun, it's highly addictive. The developers have done a great job putting a unique twist on the popular slicing-game theme. Incorporating fractions is an incredibly clever way to teach kids important math concepts, and kids most certainly will enjoy helping the adorable mammoth make its journey across the landscape. Occasional hints are provided if kids get stuck and make more than three attempts to solve a puzzler, so kids won't be challenged beyond frustration.
